BTS’ take two makes a new record on Spotify’s Global Top Songs Chart

On June 9, in celebration of their upcoming 10th debut anniversary on June 13, BTS released their highly anticipated full group track titled “Take Two.” This song marked a special moment for fans as it was the group’s OT7 release after a significant period of time.

Achievements on Spotify and Oricon Charts

“Take Two” made an immediate impact on the music scene, earning remarkable achievements on various charts. Notably, the track debuted at No.1 on the Spotify Global Top Songs chart, becoming BTS’s second song to achieve this feat. With an impressive 7,279,978 filtered streams on its first day, BTS became the only K-pop act to have two tracks top the chart. Additionally, the song debuted at No.1 on Japan’s Oricon’s Daily Digital Single chart, amassing 21,792 downloads on its release day.

Success on iTunes Chart

Following its release, “Take Two” swiftly climbed to the top of the iTunes Charts in 92 locations, including highly competitive regions such as the US and the UK. This accomplishment was further highlighted by the track’s rapid ascent to the number 1 position on the US iTunes Chart, setting a new record as the fastest K-pop track to reach that spot in just 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Preparations for 2023 BTS FESTA

As BTS approaches its 10th debut anniversary on June 13, the group and their management have been diligently preparing for the upcoming celebration. The BTS Presents Everywhere project will feature leader RM interacting with fans at Yeouido Hangang Park on June 17. Additionally, member Jungkook is set to participate as a narrator for a fireworks event, adding to the excitement surrounding the 2023 BTS FESTA.
