3 Must-watch anime coming to Netflix this June

With each passing day, Netflix users are increasing around the globe, all due to its extensive library and its efforts to keep expanding. Hence, countless series, movies, anime, games, and a lot more get added to its library each month, and with each new release, the excitement of the viewers shoot up in the sky.

We all have seen an increase in anime viewership in the last few years, and trust us when we say that the numbers have changed by a huge margin. And Netflix was one of the first to realize this upsurge and act on it. With that being said, Netflix US currently holds 218 titles in the anime genre, and it’s ever-expanding. This month too, Netflix is coming with several originals in the anime genre, some absolutely new, some adaptations, and some more.

Here’s the Netflix’s anime line-up for the month of June 2022:

Spriggan

Where the world wants to research those artifacts and unleash whatever powers they hold, one organization made it their mission to save that “power” source from the wrong hands, and the people who have taken it upon themselves to complete that mission are known as Spriggans.

The story is set in a dystopian world divided into four kingdoms that hold a seal each which keeps the God of Destruction at bay and people require magic to keep themselves safe from the beasts unleashed in the open. Even with such conditions, the kingdoms were working fine, however, things went south when the Kingdom of Metallicana got attacked by the Four Lords of Havoc. In order to limit the destruction and irreparable damage caused by the Lords, the high priest’s daughter awakens Dark Schneider, a wizard and former leader of the Riders. But the danger doesn’t stop here. Seems like Anthrasax, the god of destruction will rise again and the world will see destruction and barbarity like never before.

If you are a true anime fan, it’s absolutely impossible for you to not hear about One Piece. The story follows Monkey D. Luffy who after eating the Devil Fruit gains the abilities of a rubber. Along with his bunch of pirates, he starts on an adventure to find the ultimate treasure named One Piece so that he can become the next Pirate King.

The series has more than a thousand episodes divided into 20 seasons or what can be called ‘sagas’. Netflix US added East Blue Saga, Alabasta Saga, and most recently the Sky Island Saga of the series, and the Water Seven saga is set to release in June. This saga will follow the crew and a new member and fight the world government’s shadow organization CP9.
