Summer 2022 has been super-amazing for all K-drama fans, as Netflix never failed to keep them busy. Will the month of September go on a similar note, or will it give them a screen break? This September, we are looking forward to some more hits coming up on the screens from Korea, like the crime thriller Narco-Saints and the Korean adaptation of Little Women.
Narco-Saints

Releasing on September 9, 2022, Narco-Saints Season 1 will premiere on Netflix with six blockbuster episodes. The episodes are expected to be 60 minutes each. While we wait for this combination of crime and drama, the fans are excited to see the Squid Game star Park Hae Soo back on their screens. Some people confuse the series with the Narcos franchise because of its name, but it is completely unrelated. The name of this drama was first suggested to be The Accidental Narco which was later changed into Narco-Saints. The story takes you through a series of rollercoaster rides to South America, where a drug lord operating in the country has grabbed the attention of the National Intelligence Service. The NIS enlists the help of an ordinary entrepreneur who set his sights on making his fortune in Suriname, only to fall knee-deep into the world of drug crime. The series, releasing in the second week of September, stars Ha Jung Woo, Hwang Jung Min, Park Hae Soo, Jo Woo Jin, and Yoo Yeon Seok.
Once Upon a Small Town
Starring Joy, Choo Young Woo, Baek Sung Chul, Ha Yul Ri, and Jung Suk Yong, this K-drama comes up with new episodes every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Once Upon a Small Town will release on September 5. A rom-com K-drama, the makers are bringing Red Velvet’s Joy back to our screens soon. The fans are excited to see what happens when Han Ji Yool, a Seoul veterinarian, receives an urgent phone call from his grandfather. Then, he decides to travel to Heedong Village, where his grandfather runs an animal clinic. While Han Ji Yool gets into his grandfather’s clinic as his grandpa goes on touring Europe, he meets the beautiful trainee police officer Ahn Ja Young, who helps him with daily life in the village. This series is based on the web novel of the same name by Park Ha-min. Let’s see how the story turns out for both of them in the Heedong Village.
Little Women
This is a weekly k-drama series starting on September 3, 2022. Netflix will release its new episodes every Saturday and Sunday. Starring Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, Park Ji Hoo, Wi Ha Joon, and Uhm Ji Won, the show will release in parts of 12 episodes. This is the Korean adaptation of Little Women that is set in the modern day, over 1800s Korea. In the last few years, there have been numerous adaptations of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel; however, this is the first time the drama has been adapted by a Korean production. The series Little Women is about three sisters with a close bond who grew up in poverty. This K-drama about the sisters becomes more exciting as they get embroiled in a major incident and face off against the wealthiest family in the nation.
In August, the fans enjoyed A Model Family, Good Job, Poong, Stock Struck, and If You Wish Upon Me with some of their favorite Korean stars. After receiving a treat of K-dramas in August, the fans are excited for the shows coming up on Netflix this September.
