Last but not the least, Ramy is an American comedy-drama series that premiered on April 19, 2019, on Hulu. With comedian Ramy Youssef essaying the titular character, the series received praise for portraying a realist representation of American Muslims. The comedy-drama follows Ramy, a first-generation American Muslim who is on a spiritual journey in his politically divided neighborhood in New Jersey. It explores the challenges of what it is like being caught between an Egyptian community that thinks life is a moral test, and a generation that thinks life has no consequences.
