1. The Glory Part 2
Written by Kim Eun Sook, who is largely popular for Descendents of the Sun, The Glory is a revenge drama that revolves around Moon Dong Eun who is daydreaming of becoming an architect in her high-school days. Unfortunately, owing to a brutal attack by her bullies, Moon Dong Eun drops out of her school. This background sets the context of the movie, where years later, Moon Gong Eun is working in the same school where the child of her bully is now the homeroom teacher. This lays the foundation for Moon Dong Eun to plan and plot her revenge against her former bullies.
The series is reported to release in two parts, with the first part already released on December 30, 2022, and the second part very recently announced to release on March 10, 2023. For those unversed, here’s the official synopsis of The Glory (courtesy of Netflix):

2. Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 1
Directed by Lee Jae Gyoo and written by Lee Nam Gyu and Kim Da Hee, Daily Dose of Sunshine is an upcoming South Korean medical Netflix drama series that has subscribers perched on the edges of their seats. Based upon the webtoon Morning Comes to the Mental Ward, this Netflix Original stars Park Bo Young and is expected to release sometime in 2023.
According to MyDramaList, which has sourced the synopsis from the Korean site Naver and translated it into English, the plot of Daily Dose of Sunshine reads:
“A healing drama about the many kinds of incidents that take place in a psychiatric ward. Based on the actual real-life experiences of a psychiatric nurse, the drama will revolve around the story of nurse Jung Da Eun.”
3. Murder DIEary Season 1
Directed by Lee Chang Hee ( known for his work in Strangers from Hell) and written by Kim Da Min, Murder DIEary is a brand new South Korean Netflix comedy thriller which is based on the Korean webtoon Sarinjaonnangam. Starring Choi Woo shik who is known for his legendary work in Parasite, Murder DIEary season 1 will constitute eight episodes.
According to MyDramaList, the synopsis of Murder DIEary Season 1 reads:
“Lee Tang, an ordinary college student, who gets into an argument with a customer during a part-time job at a convenience store at night, unconsciously swings a hammer and kills him. Suffering from guilt and fear of murder, Lee Tang learns one day that the person he killed was a serial killer and slowly realizes that he has a supernatural ability to identify “bad seeds”. He soon becomes a dark hero who punishes people who committed unethical evils in the past.”
Based upon What’s on Netflix report, the series is scheduled to release “sometime in 2023”.
4. D.P. Season 2
A South Korean Netflix Original crime-drama series, D.P. has been one of the most critically-acclaimed Korean dramas, directed by Jan Jun Hee. Based upon the webtoon D.P. Dog Day by Kim Bo Tong, who is also the series’ screenplay co-writer, the crime drama has been successful in garnering the interest of Netflix viewers all over the world. So, it did not come off as a surprise when D.P. was renewed for a second season. As per the recent report on January 17th, the series is slated to premiere in the third quarter of 2023.
5. Destined With You
Destined With You is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romantic drama which stars k-pop star Rowoon along with actress Jo Bo Ah. It is directed by Nam Ki Hoon and written by screenwriter Nah Ji Sul. Destined to release in 2023, the official synopsis of the drama reads (as sourced from HanCinema):
“A drama depicting an irresistible romance between a woman who obtained a forbidden book that was thoroughly sealed 300 years ago and a man who became a victim of the forbidden book.”
