5 New shows to arrive on Netflix in February
1. You Season 4 Part 1
Based on the books written by Caroline Kepnes, You has become one of the most critically acclaimed thrillers, with its popularity skyrocketing with the release of every new season. Originally, the show was streaming on Lifetime before Netflix licensed it and made it an Original. Starring Penn Badgely as Joe Goldberg, we find You covering the world’s most attractive places, including New York, Los Angeles, fictional Madre Linda, and now, Paris.
In Season 4, Joe will don the persona of Professor Jonathan Moore in London, playing with his idiosyncratic stalking strategies. As per the reports, part one, which constitutes the first five episodes of the fourth season will drop on the official streamer on February 9 and the remaining five will release exactly one month later on March 9.
2. Outer Banks Season 3
In a recent turn of events, Netflix announced that the third season of Outer Banks will be hitting its library on February 23. Netflix Life piqued the interest of the fans of the show by commenting upon the plotline, which will only add more drama, more tension and more excitement, saying:
“One thing we are hoping for in the third season is a father-son reunion. The big cliffhanger at the end of season 2 was that John B’s dad is alive after all. With John B now on the deserted island his father once ended up on, we’re waiting to see the two find each other.”
Ever since its debut in April 2020, Outer Banks has risen to be one of the most critically-acclaimed teen drama series shows so much so that it has received accolades of the best drama and best male TV star at the People’s Choice Awards.
3. Freeridge
Releasing on February 2, Freeridge is claimed to be a spin-off of the critically acclaimed coming-of-age dramedy On My Block by Netflix Life. The plot of the show centers around the relationship between siblings and their friends as they deal with a curse which turns their lives topsy-turvy.

4. The Upshaws part 3
Touted to be one of the most underrated shows on Netflix, The Upshaws is a sitcom that returns with its third installment on February 16. Constituted in eight episodes, the story of this comedy series focuses upon the Upshaw family who continues to stick with each other through the ebbs and flows of life, regardless of any situation they come across. Featuring Mike Epps, Kim Fields, and Wanda Sykes, the comedy has been already renewed for a fourth season as well.
5. Red Rose Season 1
A Netflix Original, Red Rose is a BBC/Netflix co-production teen thriller, centering around a group who must strive to survive after downloading an app that ensnares them in perilous circumstances. Releasing on February 15th, on Netflix US, here’s the official synopsis of the same:
