The first season unfolds the suburban wife and mother(Billie), who was happily living with her children, but somewhere, she was still thinking about her past life, which was too annoying for her. She just couldn’t get out of those romantic moments which she spent with her ex, Brad. This is why she used to maintain a journal where she expressed all her emotions of her past life. From here, the story takes a sudden twist when her husband comes back home and reads that journal.
