Just like how you detox your body of all those toxins physically you should know that freeing your body of negative thoughts and feelings is also equally important. If you see that you have used the phrase ” I am done” or ” I can’t do this anymore” way too often there are chances that you are storing things inside your subconscious mind and now need a mental or emotional detox.

Here are some signs that suggest you need a mental detox. 

1. You are unable to make decisions

Are you facing issues in making decisions? Are you not sure about the decisions you make and are you insecure about whatever you choose for yourself? Well, it is a sign that you are filled with negative emotions and now need a mental detox.

2. You feel exhausted even while talking about your day

Do you feel lost while others are trying to talk to you? Do you feel that you are just not paying any attention to the conversations taking place around you and all you are thinking about is how would you get through this day? Well, if this is how much your day scares you it is a sign that you are not okay inside and that you need a mental detox.

3. You don’t want close ones around anymore

Do you feel that you are constantly irritated by the people around you? Do you feel that you only want to be alone and, therefore, are pushing people away from you? Well, it isn’t normal. No matter how big an introvert you are it’s still not normal. It is a sign that you aren’t okay from the inside and you need a mental or emotional detox.

4. You intentionally search for negativity

Do you find yourself being attracted to a lot of negative things lately? Do you feel that you tend to focus and enjoy the negative aspects of things more? Well, this could be a sign that your brain is allowing negativity to creep in and you are being okay with it. You should know that this is the time when you need to detox yourself mentally.
