The season will premiere in a few days on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the same time slot of 8/7c on the Fox network and later on Hulu, with seasons 1 to 3 already available to stream on the platform. 9-1-1: Lone Star Season 4 Plot
The official synopsis of the season states, “Owen, Tommy, and the rest of the 126 are being called into action to a county fair when a ‘derecho,’ a series of a fast-moving group of severe thunderstorms, hit Austin, causing hurricane and tornado-force winds, heavy rains, flash floods and a wide path of destruction. And just when they think it couldn’t get worse, an even more rare weather phenomenon, a ‘heat burst,’ causing temperatures to go up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit, hits the city.” “We are in good-faith negotiations [on 9-1-1 and The Resident],” Fox Entertainment CEO said on Fox’s upfront call Monday morning. Further adding, “Based on the long history with 20th Television, I think we are in pretty good shape. We adore [co-creator and EP] Ryan [Murphy] and are so pleased that Lone Star is locked and loaded.”
The confirmed storyline so far includes that we will see TK and Carlos’ wedding and their wedding planning. Carlos’s first episode will feature a plot in which he “trips very hard,” which “may or may not irritate some people.” Iris Blake will once again be played by Lyndsy Fonseca, and there will be a plot involving Special Agent Rose Casey, a new character, and Owen looking into an extreme group that is plotting an attack. Together, Carlos and Sergeant O’Brien will collaborate on a case.
