Released in September 2022 in theatres, After Ever Happy has finally scheduled to release on Netflix this December. Based on the After novel series by Anna Todd, Netflix subscribers have been eagerly waiting for the movie to release on the streaming giant. Featuring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin in the roles of Tessa Young and Hardin Scott respectively, the movie franchise has created its own sort of fan following.

The official synopsis of After Ever Happy (courtesy of IMDb) reads:

“As a shocking truth about a couple’s families emerges, the two lovers discover they are not so different from each other. Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin — any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for.”

“At least three more After movies are in the works, including a secret sequel called After Everything, a prequel revolving around Hardin’s life before meeting Tessa called Before, and an untitled sequel that will focus on the next generation of the Scott family.”
