Reports also suggest that the actor has resorted to self-quarantine according to the guidelines issued by the health authorities. As a result, he also had to halt the shooting of his ongoing drama titled Again My Life which features him in a lead role.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama has reportedly witnessed the cancellation of the entire filming for the week following the test results of Lee Joon Gi. However, reports suggest that there will be no change in the broadcasting schedule of the drama. This happened after the second week’s broadcast of Again My Life which premiered on April 8, 2022.
For the unversed, the new drama has received a positive response from the audience. Especially, they have lauded Joon Gi for his stellar acting performance that perfectly fits the gripping plot. Apart from him, the show also features Kim Ji Eun in a lead role.
Again My Life’s story chronicles around Kim Hee Woo, a man who acts as a prosecutor. He gets a second lifeline after getting killed by the minion of a corrupt politician. Woo resumes his life from a much younger age and decides to redo many of his previous actions to hope for a different result around the time. Lee Joon Gi’s agency, Namoo Actors, announced on April 18, 2022, that the actor had tested positive for Coronavirus. As published in Soompi, mentioned hereunder is the agency’s statement.
Hello. This is Namoo Actors.
This morning (April 18), our agency actor Lee Joon Gi tested positive for COVID-19.
After filming today, Lee Joon Gi had symptoms of poor condition. Following the results of his self-test kit, he underwent a rapid antigen test for professional use at the designated hospital and ultimately received a positive result.
Before all of his activities, Lee Joon Gi has frequently been taking rapid antigen tests and PCR tests.
Currently, Lee Joon Gi does not have any symptoms besides a mild sore throat. All of his planned activities have been cancelled and he will take measures in accordance to guidelines of health authorities.
