Alabama Barker recently took to Instagram to address claims suggesting that she’s gone under the knife at a young age. The 18-year-old shared a carousel of photos on February 15, featuring herself in a bikini and a vibrant crochet swimsuit coverup while soaking up the sun on a boat.
The snaps caught the eyes of many netizens who rushed to the comment section to point out Alabama’s physical appearance. “This child has done alot of cosmetic surgery @ a very young age, I hope she doesn’t over do it! She looks good now!” a top comment read. In response, Alabama wrote, “I really appreciate the love ! I’m natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I’m naturally beautiful.”

Alabama Barker speaks out on being called a ‘catfish’
This isn’t the first time Alabama has spoken out against body-shaming and criticism. Last summer, she addressed issues related to her weight gain, attributing it to an autoimmune disease and a thyroid condition. In a TikTok video, she candidly shared her struggles and urged others to refrain from making hurtful comments based on appearance.
“Paparazzi will purposely take pictures of you with your mouth open, middle of a sentence and any ugly picture they can get of you just for views,” she said at the time. Alabama was reportedly also called a “catfish.” She continued, “I would love to see you guys getting random pictures of you taken of you when you’re leaving the grocery store, in the middle of a sentence, with your mouth wide open… and let’s see how beautiful you look.” She added, “So, it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself. It’ll get you further in life.”

‘Bite at everyone who barks at me’
Alabama has previously opened up about her decision to undergo lip injections, which she shared on her Instagram Story last October. In a shoutout to aesthetics practitioner Anush Movsesian, Barker praised her as “the best in LA.”
Recently, the former “Meet the Barkers” star clapped back after receiving unnecessary online hate. “Sometimes I find myself wanting to clap back. Bite at everyone who barks at me,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in September 2023. She added, “But then I look at those people, like really look at them… what kind of life they’re living. The choice they’re making. The things they do. Compared to who I am, what I do & how I live. And that, itself keeps me humble.” She concluded her post by pointing out that “the evil-hearted never wins.”
