The wait for the much-anticipated new episodes is finally over! The 8th episode, “Rock the Boat,” is now scheduled to release on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the same time slot of 9/8c as the sibling series, “All American,” which will also air on the same day at The CW and later on other streaming platforms. The episode was directed by Christine Swanson and written by Cam’ron Moore & Jeffrey David Thomas. The runtime of each episode is approximately 42 to 49 minutes.

The official synopsis of the episode states, “CLEARING THINGS UP – Once again, Simone’s world has been rocked leaving her no choice but to stand up for herself with her support system fighting right by her side. Damon is at a personal low, but things get worse when a salacious rumor circulates about him and the baseball team. Keisha’s dance trajectory hits a major roadblock leaving everyone to rally around her. JR reflects on his friendship when Cam shows interest in KEK. Meanwhile, Amara struggles with trying to balance being president and being an aunt.”

Additionally, the network has also released the title and synopsis of the 9th episode, “Hard Place,” which will be released on January 30, 2023. The episode is directed by Michael Schultz and written by Alison McKenzie & Christopher N. Corte. The plot follows, “HEALING – Simone struggles with trying to balance her new “duties” and her loyalty to Nate, leaving her to question if she made the right decision.

Marcus sees that Thea is struggling on the court and offers her help in an unexpected way. Damon tries to keep the baseball team focused as they inch closer to a big achievement. Meanwhile, Cam isn’t sure if pledging is for him, leaving JR to reevaluate the fraternity’s strategy.” As of January 18, 2023, the official titles and synopsis of the majority of the remaining episodes have not been revealed and will be disclosed later. Television and CBS Studios in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, and Robbie Rogers.

Following the series’ television premiere, viewers can catch up on new episodes for free on The CW app and website based on their location.
