All American Season 5: When will the new episodes premiere?
The wait for the much-anticipated new episodes is finally over! The 8th episode, “Feel So Good,” is now scheduled to release on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the same time slot of 8/7c as the prior sibling series All American: Homecoming on The CW and later on other streaming platforms. The episode was directed by Ryan Zaragoza and written by Carrie Gutenberg. The runtime of each episode is approximately 42 to 49 minutes. The official synopsis of the episode states, “When Laura throws Billy a surprise birthday party, everyone comes together to roast Billy; Spencer makes an effort to do what’s best for himself, hoping it helps Olivia; Jayme offers some sage advice to Asher about his speech with JJ.”
Additionally, the network has also released the title and synopsis of the 9th episode, “Feel It in the Air,” which will be released on January 30, 2023. The episode is directed by David McWhirter and written by Obiageli Odimegwu. The plot follows Spencer convinces a reluctant ally to speak their truth, but it doesn’t come without consequences; Jordan finds himself juggling too many secrets and accidentally lets one slip; Olivia throws herself into moving on and comes to a realization. As of January 17, 2023, the official titles and synopses of the remaining episodes have not been revealed and will be disclosed later. The official synopsis of the season, states, “When a rising high school football player from South L.A. is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High, the wins, losses, and struggles of two families from vastly different worlds – Crenshaw and Beverly Hills – begin to collide. Episode 2: Don’t Sweat the Technique: With Spencer’s life hitting a rocky point, he takes some advice from JJ and Coop to embrace college life; Olivia and Billy’s suspicions about coach Garrett resurface and cause tension between them and Jordan; Layla makes a power play.
Episode 3: Feeling Myself: When Spencer joins Olivia in her quest to get former players to talk about Coach Garrett, things start to become real for them; Layla agrees to attend a red carpet with Patience; Spencer comes up with a solution to make Grace feel special.
Episode 4: Turn Down for What: With Grace and Carter’s wedding right around the corner, antics ensue; while Denise and Laura kidnap Grace for a surprise bachelorette party, Preach and Billy take Carter out for drinks; Coop is coming to terms with some disappointing news.
Episode 5: I Need Love: Olivia gets Billy’s help to find the missing piece to her article before the deadline; JJ ropes Spencer and Jordan into a Valentine’s Day fraternity speed dating event; Coop has an opportunity to audit a law class.
Episode 6: Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down: Spencer and Jordan try to secure as many commitments as they can before the end of National Signing Day to help their team; Asher tries to capitalize on an unfortunate opportunity by swaying some new recruits with an assist from an unlikely source.
Episode 7: Hate It or Love It: Hustling to manage the fallout after some shocking news, Spencer reaches out to Billy for help; Olivia feels conflicted about how to balance feelings about work and family; Layla helps Patience with a professional crisis.
