With Grace and Carter’s wedding coming up, antics ensue. JJ ropes Spencer and Jordan into a Valentine’s Day fraternity speed dating event, and Coop has an opportunity to audit a law class. Spencer and Jordan try to secure as many commitments as they can before the end of National Signing Day. Asher tries to capitalize on an unfortunate opportunity by swaying some new recruits.
Olivia feels conflicted about how to balance feelings about work and family, and Layla helps Patience with a professional crisis. When Laura throws Billy a surprise birthday party, everyone comes together to roast him. Jayme offers sage advice to Asher about his speech with JJ, Spencer convinces a reluctant ally to speak their truth, and Jordan finds himself juggling too many secrets and accidentally lets one slip.
As, Olivia throws herself into moving on and comes to a realization, Layla clashes with her father over a decision she made about Keating Records, Olivia contends with success behind a pseudonym, Preach gets a surprise visit from Amina, and Asher receives life-changing news. When an unexpected event rocks both the Beverly Hills and Crenshaw communities, they come together to support each other in an unexpected way.
Jordan attempts to man up in his dad’s absence, but when Billy’s death is used to garner attention for the GAU football program, he wonders if his legacy is only to live in his father’s shadow. No one knows how to confront Laura’s den-mothering. Spencer and Jordan try to revive the GAU football program, but no one follows.
Olivia, Layla, and Patience look for an escape from their stressors. Spring break brings some big changes when an old friend surprises Spencer and Jordan. Olivia searches for the courage to share her truth; Patience has a decision to make. Spencer is challenged to try and bring the team together.
Asher and Jaymee are ready to share their news, and Olivia learns that Jayden Davis stirred up more than the football team. Patience contends with major ramifications after she fails to heed Layla’s advice about her No. 1 fan. Dramatic changes are on the horizon for the whole gang, and the road forward is destined to be influenced by the past. All American Season 6: Is it renewed or canceled?
On January 11, 2023, The CW renewed the series for a sixth season. The network has handed an early sixth-season renewal to the drama series, marking the first scripted renewal since Nexstar took ownership earlier this year. Since the announcement, there has been no news about the potential release date as the details about production as been kept under wraps.
On the bright side, it is expected to return in the 2023 – 24 broadcast season!
