Night Sky is an upcoming American science fiction drama streaming television series produced by Holden Miller and Daniel C. Connolly for Amazon Studios and Legendary Television. Holden Miller wrote, and co-executive produced the show, which is a co-production of Amazon Studios and Legendary Television (Carnival Row, Paper Girls)

“Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene and Franklin York, a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. They’ve carefully guarded their secret ever since, but when an enigmatic young man enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly upended… and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined.”

Where to watch Night Sky?
Night Sky will be released exclusively on the Prime Video streaming service as a Prime Video original. So, it is time for you to renew your membership plans and stream the series when it is set to release on the premiere date the next month.
Night Sky Production Timeline
On October 21, 2020, the project was handed a series order. Sissy Spacek and Ed O’Neill joined the cast in March 2021. However, O’Neill quit the show the next month and was replaced by J. K. Simmons. Chai Hansen, Adam Bartley, Julieta Zylberberg, Roco Hernández, and Kiah McKirnan joined the cast as series regulars in May 2021. Principal photography began in the state of Illinois in June 2021.
Woodstock, Chicago’s Cinespace Film Studios, and the communities of Frankfort, Wauconda, and Island Lake were all used as filming locations. Beth Lacke, Stephen Louis Grush, and Cass Buggé were cast in recurring roles in August 2021. Filming was supposed to wrap up in October 2021.
