Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ready to make their love story official. The pair are allegedly ready to get engaged and are set to announce the news during Thanksgiving dinner with both their families in attendance, according to Radar Online.
An insider revealed to Radar Online, “This is far from a Thanksgiving celebration – Taylor and Travis have sorted this to tell both sets of their loved ones they are planning to get married.”
The source further added, “They want to put all the gossip about their relationship status to bed once and for all and they want a wedding to happen in June, which will mark the two-year anniversary of when they first got together.” June weddings have a romantic and timeless connotation, which resonates with Swift’s flair for poetic love, which she reflects in most of her tracks.
The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer has invited Kelce’s side of the family to Nashville for Thanksgiving as she is spending her brief time off of her Eras Tour. Swift will resume her final three performances of the entire tour in Vancouver from December 6 to 8.
Swift and Kelce’s whirlwind romance swept the fans off their feet since its inception in 2023. Although they have tried maintaining a low profile towards the beginning of their relationship, their romance could not stay hidden for long owing to their PDA-packed joint event appearances and the pop icon cheering her beau with his mother Donna Kelce in almost every Kansas City Chiefs match.
Both Swift and Kelce have attained huge career milestones since they got together, with Kelce winning the NFL Super Bowl last year and starring in a movie, ‘Grotesquerie.’
The 14-times Grammy winner, on the other hand, has taken the music industry by storm since 2023, with her celebrated global Eras Tour being awarded as the highest-grossing tour of all time (over $2 billion funds collected), the release of her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department that has four Grammy nominations under its belt, and finally she has been ranked No. 2 on Billboard’s ‘Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century.’
Travis’s mother Donna Kelce is supportive of her son’s relationship with the pop icon and has been spotted cheering him alongside Swift during his NFL games.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six earlier this year, Donna gave her two cents on the couple’s compatibility noting, “He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she.”
