There’s talk in Taylor Swift’s circle that she and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, might get engaged this summer, as per Page Six. Rumors suggest that the couple intentionally delayed the proposal during the winter holidays because “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.”

The source also mentioned that Kelce won’t be proposing on Valentine’s Day for similar reasons. The insider revealed, “Taylor and Travis discussed it, and there is a plan.” The buzz indicates that “They will get engaged on their one-year anniversary in July.”

‘Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer’

Contrary to earlier claims, another source has dismissed the speculation about Kelce and Swift getting engaged this summer. An exclusive source informed Us Weekly, stating, “Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer. Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”

The source further highlighted that Swift and Kelce both are aware that “a lot of their loved ones” would be thrilled to witness a proposal,  — “and some may even believe” that it will happen in the near future. However, the couple is not currently considering taking that step “anytime soon.”

The pair began dating after Kelce attended Swift’s Eras tour concert

The power couple made their first public appearance in September when the ‘Bad Blood’ singer attended one of Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs games at Arrowhead Stadium. However, Swift disclosed in her Time magazine Person of the Year interview that their relationship had been ongoing for a much longer duration.

The couple initiated their connection after Kelce shared on his “New Heights” podcast in July how he attempted to give Taylor Swift his phone number despite failing to do so during an Eras tour concert. “We started hanging out right after that,” Swift shared with Time. “So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other.”

“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game,” she added. “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.” Swift went on to say: “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care …

“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
