It seems that Ariana Grande is completely into her beau, Ethan Slater. As per PEOPLE’s source, things are getting pretty “serious” between the 30-year-old pop singer and the 31-year-old Spamalot actor. The couple confirmed to have been dating since July. The outlet’s source revealed, “Ariana is serious with Ethan. She loves being with him.”
The insider revealed that since Grande is working on her upcoming album, they “go out occasionally”, but most of the time, they “enjoy staying in. It’s a very normal relationship.” PEOPLE revealed that the couple was captured together on Saturday on one of their first times out together.
They were pictured during a night out in New York City and were said to have eaten dinner with Grande’s father Ed Butera at her family’s favorite Italian restaurant, according to a source close to Grande who told PEOPLE.
The “Dangerous Woman” singer was decked up in a spectacular all-black with a furry bucket hat, mini skirt, and black top with furry cuffs. On the contrary, Slater chose to sport a more athletic look with a zip-up, joggers, and running shoes.
PEOPLE’s source shared, “They love to support each other in their work. When she’s done with work, Ariana loves going to the theatre when she can.”
Grande teased her blossoming relationship with her boyfriend on Instagram when she posted a plethora of photos earlier this month. In one of those photos, an image with a Spam can ornament was seen hanging on a wall Christmas tree made of green garland.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the ornament is indubitably a reference to Spamalot, which is a 2005 Tony-winning musical adaptation of Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Per PEOPLE, Slater is presently featured in a revival of a Broadway comedy.
Ever since Slater’s rehearsals began in October, the “Everyday” singer has been visibly supporting him multiple times at the St. James Theatre in New York City. The outlet shares that she was also spotted cheering him on during the show’s first preview performance on Halloween and she even appeared on the opening night of the Broadway musical on November 15.
