Ariana Grande is firing back at her haters with the release of her latest single, “Yes, And?” The song takes a direct shot at those who have been critical of her recent and controversial relationship with Ethan Slater.

Breaking her silence this week, the pop superstar addressed the intense backlash she faced from fans amid her whirlwind romance with her Wicked co-star, Ethan. Throughout the past year, Ariana had been the target of intense hate, with the couple facing cheating allegations.

Despite sources confirming that their relationship only began after both had ended their previous ones. In a bold move, the ‘Sweetener’ singer has finally responded back to the critics and is advising them that her love life is none of anyone’s business.

‘Your business is yours and mine is mine’

“I’m so done with caring what you think/no, I won’t hide/underneath your own projections/Or change my most authentic life. Don’t comment on my body, do not reply/Your business is yours and mine is mine,” sings the pop star in the house track released this Friday.

She further questions listeners, “Why do you care so much whose — I ride?”Why do you care so much whose — I ride?“ Though the four-letter word is censored and not included in the official lyrics of the song, it’s implied that she might be referring to her sex life, using the term “d–k.”

Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater met in London

Grande and Slater were confirmed to be a couple in July after the pair met in London last year while working on the filming of “Wicked”. The news broke three days after the “Thank U, Next” singer split from her two-year husband, Dalton Gomez, according to Page Six.

Moreover, around October, when Grande and Dalton finalized their divorce, it was revealed that she and Slater had moved in together in New York. Notably, Slater had filed for divorce from his wife, Lilly Jay, the previous July.

As per Page Six’s sources, at the time Jay, the mother of his 1-year-old son, felt “completely blindsided” by his relationship with Grande. In later comments, Jay characterized Grande as “not a girls’ girl,” referring to her family as “collateral damage.”

Grande addressed the drama on her Instagram

Grande addressed the recent drama surrounding her new romance in a heartfelt Instagram Story post last month. “I have never felt more pride or joy or love while simultaneously feeling so deeply misunderstood by people who don’t know me, who piece whispers together and make what they want out of me and their assumptions of my life,” she shared on her Instagram Story.

In the same post, the ‘Bloodline’ singer acknowledged feeling  “more tightly held or fiercely protected” by her loved ones and those who truly understand her, including friends, family, and fans. “I feel safe, even amidst so many things I’d usually be afraid of. I am listening to and trusting myself, even when fear or trauma tells me not to,” she added.
