Attack on Titan Season 5 Renewal Status

Unfortunately, the anticipated anime won’t be coming for the fifth season. As per Attack on Titan’s official Twitter handle, the anime will be coming in the near future. However, not for a new season. Season 4 is the last installment, and its final part is yet to hit the screens.

This information was announced in a recent tweet on the official handle, which translated to “TV Anime ‘Attack on Titan’ The Final Season Final Edition Broadcast in 2023 on NHK General TV! The announcement video has been released!”

As per the recent tweet regarding the Attack on Titans Season 4 Part 3, the final part of the final season is set to release sometime in 2023. 

How many episodes will Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 will have?

The final season of Attack on Titan has the most episodes throughout the series, with 28 already released and more to come next year. Season 4 Part 1 and Part 2 had 16 and 12 episodes, respectively. As there has been no consistency in the number of episodes, it is difficult to have an idea regarding how many of them will be there in the final part of the season.

The final season of the series follows the soldiers of Paradis and their venture to end the war between the Marleyans and the Eldians. We might be seeing the frayed bond between Eren and Mikasa as they play mind games with each other. The final part might give a conclusion to this duo as well. There is a huge scope of character and story development between Eren and Zeke as well, while there are multiple Titan collaborations that are expected to take place.
