On the other side of the phone call is another woman named Young-sook (Jun Jong-seo) who lives a tortured life with her shaman adoptive mother twenty years in the past, in 1999.
After having have suffered intense loss in their lives both women in the film find solace in each other, and soon enough Seo-yeon is helping Young-sook save her future, while Young-sook changes Seo-Yeon’s past, and therefore the present. The Platform (2019)
Directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia, The Platform is a 2019 Spanish social science fiction horror film. Set in a large, tower-style ‘Vertical Self-Management Center’, the film depicts changing power dynamics.
The film revolves around the people living in this tower who are fed via a platform which begins at the top of the building and slowly descends through the tower’s levels. The system naturally leads to conflict, as the residents living in the top levels get to eat as much as they can, with each level getting only the leftovers from the previous ones.
The residents are switched every month between the platform’s many floors leading to the changing power dynamics.

Fractured (2019)
A 2019 American psychological thriller film, Fractured had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 22, 2019. Directed by Brad Anderson, the film stars Sam Worthington, Lily Rabe, Stephen Tobolowsky, Adjoa Andoh, and Lucy Capri in major roles
It was released by Netflix on October 11, 2019.
According to IMDb, The storyline of Fractured follows Ray who along with his wife takes his daughter to a hospital who fractured her arm while at the highway rest. After a frantic rush to the hospital and a clash with the check-in nurse, Ray is finally able to get her to a doctor. While his wife and daughter go downstairs for an MRI, Ray, exhausted, passes out in a chair in the lobby. Upon waking up, he is told that his wife and child were never there.

A 2018 British thriller film, Calibre had debuted at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Written and directed by Matt Palmer, the film released on Netflix on June 29, 2018.

Side Effects is a 2013 American psychological thriller film directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Scott Z. Burns. Soderbergh’s collaboration with Burns have always been a high point, this one’s also no less.
Starring Rooney Mara, the film traces the story of a woman Emily who is prescribed experimental drugs by psychiatrists (played by Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones) after her problems continue to haunt her. What follows not only leads to her husband’s murder but also threatens to ruin Jonathan’s career.
