After making headlines with her record-breaking The Renaissance World Tour, which set new standards and cemented her as one of the best performers in the music industry, Beyoncé is back with another announcement.
This time around, the singer-songwriter has once again taken the internet by storm as she unveils the first official look of her highly anticipated fragrance created in France, named “CÉ NOIR.” On Tuesday, the “Virgo’s Groove” singer finally came back to Instagram by sharing a rare video clip where she was seen talking directly to her 318 million followers after a long time, as she usually likes to keep her private moments protected from social media.
So, this message came as a surprise to her fans, as in the post, she was seen all smiles while unboxing the new perfume, which is available to pre-order for the U.S. and Canada ahead of shipment in November. “I’m super excited. This is my CÉ NOIR unboxing, and it’s finally here after years of work,” says the Grammy winner.

Known for her fierce personality and gorgeous smile, Beyoncé was seen in full glam wearing a black tank top and drawstring pants. She explained how the idea of the fragrance, which has been curated with such attention to detail, came to fruition after years in the making. Showing off the product from the box cover, she explained, “I wanted something to be monolithic and I wanted something to have a little bit of intimacy.”
Further adding, “So right here you can see inside the soul of the perfume,” she pointed to the bottle as she applied “my first spray” of the finished product with such great enthusiasm.
Beyoncé, 42, also revealed that she applied the perfume in some of the shows for her recently-wrapped Renaissance World Tour, quoting, “I actually spray this during the show a few times, Gotta keep it fresh.” After showcasing the entire elements from the packaging of the product, she concluded the video by holding up the perfume bottle and box and stating, “And that is CÉ NOIR.” Eventually, she placed the bottle back inside its designated indent in the box as she chuckled faintly at her wordplay at the end of the clip, “Say no more.”
The video clip comes a day after the singer teased the release of the fragrance on Instagram, quoting, “Beyoncé Parfums presents CÉ NOIR. Pre-order now on parfum.beyonce.com for shipping in November and in time for the holidays.” The post generated a lot of buzz, and many fans started commenting on the post within a few seconds.
One fan stated, “Nooo beyonce, you got my renaissance money, then my ivy park money, now you want me to smell like you??? Girl, ok… but this the last time.😂” Another fan commented, “A tour, film , and a fragrance what’s next B 😂 ?!”

According to Beyoncé’s website, the French-made perfume crafted and designed by Beyoncé herself contains notes of clementine and golden honey at the top, as well as rose absolute and jasmine sambac at the heart. At the base are hints of namibian myrrh and golden amber. Moreover, this is a pre-order for eau de parfum with a quantity of 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) at the price of $160.00, which will only be available in the US and Canada. The shipping of this exclusive drop will officially begin in November 2023. You can also cancel your pre-order and receive a full refund at any time before the item is shipped.
At last, Beyoncé is also set to release her own beauty products, as she teased the launch of her new haircare line back in May, along with two photos on Instagram, “How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon? Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done,” Beyoncé shared of her former platinum-selling girl group. “I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon,” she added.
“I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.” “I watched her heal and be of service to so many women. Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy,” continued Beyoncé. “I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.”
