Big Mouth Season 7: Is it renewed or canceled?

Big Mouth Season 7

Find out if Big Mouth Season 7 is happening or not?

It has been a while since animation stopped being just for kids. Netflix is leaving no stone unturned to expand the genre and bring about content that is equally hilarious and entertaining for adults. With shows like BoJack Horseman, F is for Family, Castlevania, Disenchantment, Rick and Morty, the adult animated genre has been successful in getting itself an impressive following.

One of them is Big Mouth. Big Mouth is an animated coming-of-age sitcom created by Andrew Goldberg, Nick Kroll, Mark Levin, and Jennifer Flackett for Netflix. The show explores concepts like puberty, insecurities, infatuation, and sexuality in a very frank manner. The series has received critical acclaim based on its writing, animation, voice acting, musical numbers, humor, and very evident and boldly stated messages of acceptance.

The first season, consisting of 10 episodes, premiered on Netflix on September 29, 2017, and since then, 5 seasons have been on-air, and fans are left speculating on the possibilities of the series’ future.

Big Mouth Season 7 Plot

**Spoiler alert**

Though the series has been renewed for Season 6 and 7, there have been no announcements regarding the plot. Season 5 ended with what some people thought to be a wrapping up of the series with live-action Nick Kroll on screen.

When Nick felt he was done with Walter ruining his life, he followed him back to the Human Resources, an otherworldly bureaucracy where monsters of all different sorts are assigned to help the humans of the story. He made a scene about how much he is fed up with the department’s inefficiency and asked to see the person in charge (or maybe the monster in charge, who knows?). He gets his wish and finds himself standing in front of the live-action Nick Kroll, who is responsible for everything in his life.

Nick accuses him of deliberately and systematically ruining his life, but Kroll counters him by saying that no matter who says what, Nick is responsible for his own actions and nobody else is. Nick tries blaming the monsters for guiding him to what all he did, to which Kroll said that it is his inability to step back and analyze his thoughts before acting on them that led to everything going haywire in his life.

Kroll took a moment to remind the viewers to not think of ’emotion monsters’ as whole different entities. They are just some elaborate representations of the physical and emotional changes all human beings go through and are simply metaphors for them.

Season 5 ended on a positive note, and for now, we have no idea what will be the storyline of the upcoming seasons. However, there is always a scope for further character and storyline development in such content.
