After a one-month wait, the network has officially confirmed that the series will return this year by disclosing that Big Sky Season 3 will be premiering new episodes on September 21, 2022.

Big Sky Season 3 Time Slot
It has been confirmed that the timing of the series has been changed by the ABC network. As originally aired on Thursdays after the long-running drama series Grey’s Anatomy, the series will now show on Wednesdays at 10 p.m., after the network’s comedy lineup rather than Grey’s Anatomy. It joins Abbot Elementary, ABC’s heavyweight public school comedy, in moving to Wednesday nights.
Big Sky Season 3 Cast Updates
According to Deadline, Reba McEntire has joined David E. Kelley’s ABC drama Big Sky as a series regular for the upcoming third season. McEntire will play Sunny Brick, the mercurial matriarch of the Brick Family, a successful backcountry outfitter with a secret history of missing customers.
McEntire will join new series regular cast members Jensen Ackles, who guest-stars in the upcoming Season 2 finale and will continue his role as Beau Arlen in Season 3.
