Black Adam is going to be back soon! Yes, we are talking about the second trailer of Dwayne Johnson’s DC film Black Adam which was released recently on Thursday. Not only that, but it also seems like the official trailer has come with a message about DC’s upcoming new era. Talking about the trailer, it gives the audience a clearer view of the much-awaited debut of none other than the Justice Society of America itself, which was earlier teased in another poster that was released a few days ago.
The new trailer
Talking about the DC film, it has been directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. The second trailer gives the fans a better view of the JSA that includes Pierce Brosnan’s Kent Nelson aka Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo’s Albert Rothstein aka Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge’s Carter Hall aka Hawkman, and Quintessa Swindell’s Maxine Hunkel aka Cyclone. You also can take a good look at the grand base of the JSA in the new trailer that has further raised the fans’ expectations, most of whom were waiting to see everyone from the team on the big screen.
Aldis Hodge, who plays Hawkman, had earlier clarified his stance while talking about the superhero squad. Here is what he said at a press conference, “We ain’t no new Justice League. We came first. All right? Let’s get that straight. Justice Society was the very first superhero team in the existence of ever.”
More details
Talking about the trailer, it is a two-minute-long clip that also gives a vital introduction to Black Adam’s tale, which will be taking over the anti-hero trope. You get a kind of grimy feel after having watched the trailer, which begins with Dwayne Johnson’s voice narrating the series of events. Here is what we get to hear, “My son sacrificed his life to save me” with the scene depicting Rock’s body floating upwards amidst the labyrinth of a glacier. The trailer has proved that Black Adam’s story is going to take a much uglier time and may turn into a revenge chronicle.
