BLACKPINK continues to rule Billboard charts with Pink Venom ahead of album release

The BLACKPINK members have already blown the trumpets about their comeback with the pre-release track titled Pink Venom. And now, the group is just a few days away from dropping its much-awaited album BORN PINK. Talking about Pink Venom, the pre-release track was dropped on August 19, 2022, and continues to reign the charts like no other!

Pink Venom has emerged to be one of the best tracks of the BLACKPINK members because it continues to top music charts around the world. Now, as recorded on September 12, 2022, the latest Billboard chart update has revealed that Pink Venom has topped the Global Exclusive US Chart for the third consecutive week. Moreover, the track has maintained a high rank on the Billboard 200 Global Chart, with its place in the second position. In between the tracking week of September 2 to 8, 2022, Pink Venom is reportedly said to have gathered 69.2 million streams and around 3000 sales in regions that fall outside the US.

Whistle’s record

The BLACKPINK fans have got yet another reason to celebrate because the group’s music video Whistle recently crossed 800 million views on YouTube. It makes for the girl group’s sixth track to record the whopping number like As If It’s Your Last, BOOMBAYAH, Kill This Love, How You Like That, and DDU-DU DDU-DU. For the unversed, the video was released on August 16, 2016.

Shut Down

Talking about BLACKPINK’s upcoming album BORN PINK, it is scheduled for release on September 16, 2022. Its title track is Shut Down and will get released on the same day along with a music video. Ahead of the same, posters of all the individual members got shared separately for their title track, Shut Down. The first one whose poster was out was none other than Jisoo herself. It was followed by Jennie, Rose, and Lisa’s individual posters getting shared on social media.

All four members looked eccentric in the recently released teaser posters for Shut Down which has made the fans curious about what’s coming next for BLACKPINK. Earlier, the group also shared the entire tracklist for Pink Venom on social media, much to the excitement of the fans.
