BLACKPINK’s Lisa made history on June 30th by reaching 800 million streams on Spotify with her B-side track, “MONEY.” The song, released in 2021, gained immense popularity not only among K-pop fans but also a wider audience. Its association with the hit Netflix series, Squid Game, further boosted its success as fans used the track for edits on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

This viral sensation solidified its cultural impact. Moreover, Lisa holds the distinction of being the fastest K-pop solo artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, with her songs “LALISA,” “MONEY,” and “SG.” These accomplishments have earned her a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. Additionally, she is recognized as the most listened-to K-pop soloist on Spotify, with an impressive monthly listenership of 13,320,679.

Awards and Recognition for Lisa’s Solo Career

Lisa has received numerous awards for her solo music endeavors. In 2022, she won the Best K-pop award at the MTV Video Music Awards for her title track, “LALISA.” At the Hanteo Music Awards in 2021, she received the Artist Award – Female Solo and the Initial Chodong Record Award. Lisa was honored with the Best Newcomer award at the 2022 Bravo Otto ceremony.
