BLACKPINK’s Rosé has got a lookalike, and now everyone is talking about the same! Yes, you heard it right. A Thai TikToker has recently gained attention because of her striking resemblance to the K-pop idol. The teen TikToker, who goes by the name @paerploytae, hails from Thailand, and she started posting videos in March 2021. However, it was only in the months of August and September this year that her account went viral for obvious reasons.

The new sensation

The Thai TikToker has now become an overnight viral sensation, especially across South Korea. Popular giant online communities like TheQoo and Nate Pann have picked up the videos that capture similarities between her and BLACKPINK’s Rosé. Netizens have pointed out multiple similarities between the TikToker and Rosé and have affectionately nicknamed the former Rosé-Gongie. The name is a twisted version of the name of a popular YouTuber Minseogongie who had earlier gone viral because of his resemblance to actor Park Bo Gum.

The BLACKPINK member was recently spotted at the Paris Fashion Week hanging out with the who’s who of the celeb world. She, along with fellow member Jisoo, headed to Paris on September 26, 2022, ten days after making a grand comeback with BORN PINK. The two K-pop stars are the faces of multiple luxurious brands and represent them as their global ambassadors. They were invited to the Paris Fashion Week respectively. Talking about Jisoo, she also looked stunning as she was seated in the front row for Dior Spring Summer 2023 alongside Natalie Portman.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé proved to be the star at the Yves Saint Laurent Show along with multiple other renowned celebrities. Anthony Vaccarello, the Creative Director, has always shown his fondness towards the BLACKPINK member and also walked the Met Gala 2022 with her. Rose sat at the crux of the profile event and shared photos from her special night under the Eiffel Tower while donning a stunning black outfit.

The BLACKPINK world tour is scheduled to kickstart on October 15, 2022. For the unversed, the first two dates will take place in Seoul, South Korea. The lengthy tour will reportedly continue till June 2023, during which the group will make stops in Asia, Europe, Australia, and North America. The members recently made a massive comeback with their full-length album BORN PINK. Moreover, the pre-release track Pink Venom and the title track Shut Down have garnered a humongous response from music lovers.
