It was on August 8, 2022, at midnight KST, that the popular girl group BLACKPINK observed its sixth debut anniversary. Moreover, the group also unveiled its much-awaited comeback after a short hiatus along with the anticipated details. The BLINKs were excited to know that the group is all set to make its comeback with the upcoming pre-release single titled Pink Venom. For the unversed, the song is all set to release on August 19, 2022, at 1 pm KST. Well, the surprise doesn’t end here! The group went ahead further and shared the official poster of the track for their fans.

BLACKPINK’s official account shared a black poster of Pink Venom with pink text, thereby revealing the much-awaited title to the world. The poster alludes to the track’s title as well because it includes amazing graphics that showcase a pair of pink fangs! Apart from that, it is also mentioned that the song is a pre-release track of the girl group. Moreover, we also get to see the release date for the same mentioned under the main title of the song. The dark-themed poster has sent the BLINKs into a frenzy, who are now eagerly waiting for its release.

Ready For Love

BLACKPINK dropped yet another pre-release track a few days ago that was titled Ready for Love. The girl group gave the single’s preview during their in-game concert that happened in collaboration with PUBG mobiles. It was on July 29, 2022, that the BLACKPINK members lent their voices to their virtual counterparts for the groove music video of Ready for Love. There is no denying that their virtual avatars look equally gorgeous as they carry an uncanny resemblance to the original members.

The song has a house-pop instrumental base that comes with an EDM chorus while displaying the virtual avatars dancing to the best BLACKPINK style choreography. Moreover, the official music video also shows how the BLACKPINK members go through various ups and downs in the world.

Other achievements

Another track of the BLACKPINK members titled Lovesick Girls created a new record a few days ago. On June 27, 2022, BLACKPINK’s MV Lovesick Girls officially crossed a whopping 600 million views on YouTube, much to the excitement of the BLINKs. For the unversed, the music video was released in October 2020, and it took exactly a year, 9 months, and 3 weeks for the said track to mark the milestone.

With the same achievement, the official music video has become BLACKPINK’s ninth overall to have crossed the 600 million mark. By doing this, the track has joined the bandwagon of BOOMBAYAH, DDU-DU DDU-DU, PLAYING WITH FIRE, Kill This Love, As If It’s Your Last, WHISTLE, How You Like That, and Ice Cream.
