This makes them the first-ever K-Pop group have accomplished the feat. BLACKPINK has also become the first K-Pop group with the most views on a single music video on the popular platform.

Talking about the popular song, it was released on June 15, 2018, as the title track from the K-pop girl group’s first-ever mini album Square Up. Now, the official video has reached 2 billion views after 4 years and 6 months.
For the unversed, BLACKPINK’s DDU-DU ranks just behind PSY’s global hit Gangnam Style which is currently holding a record for 4.6 billion views on YouTube.
