On September 5, 2022, YG Entertainment, the agency associated with the K-pop girl group, released the first concept photos of the upcoming release, BORN PINK. There is no denying that the BLINKs are impressed with the edgy and dark leather looks taken by all the members of the group. Earlier, YG Entertainment also released a teaser poster bearing the title BORN PINK on September 5, 2022, much to the excitement of the fans waiting for the group’s full-fledged comeback. The released official poster includes a mysterious space with silver-colored shutters closed firmly around it. However, the bottom surface that we see is a soft pink color that expresses the aura of the BLACKPINK members and, of course, the album. Then we also get to see the BORN PINK logo that combines pink and black colors to stimulate curiosity among the viewers regarding the album.

The agency’s announcement

Talking about YG Entertainment, the agency has further raised the expectations among fans by announcing the filming of the music video for BORN PINK’s title song. Here is what the agency stated, “It will be able to raise the status of K-Pop to a different level that has never been seen before.” As for Pink Venom, it continues with its achievement spree. As per the latest reports, the pre-release track has surpassed 90.4 million views on YouTube within 24 hours of its release. It has also surpassed 200 million views within seven days of its release.

The pre-order record

BLACKPINK’s agency YG Entertainment revealed earlier that the K-pop girl group’s second regular album, BORN PINK, scheduled to be released on September 16, 2022, exceeded a whopping 2 million copies. Talking about the album, it had previously recorded 1.5 million orders within a week of the start of the pre-ordering schedule. It shows how much popularity the album has heralded within a short time.

Pink Venom

Pink Venom is the second album pre-release song of the BLACKPINK members. Earlier, when the track’s MV was released, the number of concurrent users on YouTube Premiere was confirmed to be around 2.5 million. This also makes for the highest record for any K-pop girl group. For the unversed, Pink Venom’s music video had earlier also achieved 100 million views at the fastest speed, which is 29 hours and 35 minutes, among other K-pop girl groups.
