In response to rising concerns over counterfeit BLACKPINK-related merchandise circulating online, KIPO has been diligently monitoring such activities since the previous month. The Trademark Police Division of the Korea Intellectual Property Office now intends to visit the concert venue to take direct action against the sale of fake and unauthorized merchandise.

Established in 2021 to combat intellectual property infringement, KIPO’s Intellectual Property Police will be patrolling train stations and entrances near the Gocheok Sky Dome. Their objective is to thwart the unauthorized sale of BLACKPINK goods. KIPO has already made substantial efforts by delisting counterfeit merchandise from online platforms and removing sellers engaged in counterfeit activities. These actions are being carried out in close collaboration with entertainment agencies to ensure the protection of BLACKPINK’s intellectual property rights.
