For the unversed, the official teaser for Shut Down’s music video is finally out, and we couldn’t be more excited about the same! The BLACKPINK members Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa, have already given us a sneak peek of what we can expect by the end of this week with the release of the first music video teaser of Shut Down. As suggested by multiple reports earlier, the song adds a plethora of gripping violin tones and classical music that is heard in the background.
The music video seems to have multiple past references to BLACKPINK’s earlier songs, including their debut track BOOMBAYAH, DDU-DU DDU-DU, PLAYING WITH FIRE, Pretty Savage, and more! We could also witness Rosé’s GONE in the music video teaser and signature slogans saying ‘BLACKPINK in your area.’
