Rosé does not prefer casual dating!
Unlike her other BLACKPINK bandmates, Rosé has not been subject to dating rumors, mainly because she chooses to keep that part of herself concealed from the public eye. However, during her exclusive interview with i-D, the K-pop idol let it slip that she wants to be in serious relationships rather than having meaningless flings.
During her interview, she was asked about how a K-pop idol like her who has gained global fame dates. She replied by saying that even though people ask her to casually date people justifying that she is still young at 27 years old, Rosé tells them that she does not take relationships casually. The ‘APT’ hitmaker revealed, “I’m like, more of a relationship-er, which is why people say ‘Rosie, you’re still so young’– Like, I’m very serious about dating.”
However, after letting this important detail slip, the ‘How You Like That’ hitmaker refrained and said, “You know what, I’m getting into too much detail.” When the interviewer asked her to answer if there is a dating app for K-pop idols, she replied, “No comment.”
The outlet added that Rosé is “still working out how to toe the line between the relative transparency” that Hollywood artists show, “and the closed-off perfection that’s de rigeur in K-Pop.” She also asked how she was comfortable releasing APT, since it is a song about a drinking game, the ‘Ice-Cream’ hitmaker noted, “I think drinking is not bad. It’s more like… dating,” before blatantly switching the conversation to avoid revealing too much private information.
When asked about her dating life again, the K-pop idol was interrupted by Bruno Mars suddenly calling her cell and asking her to quickly check something online (probably concerning their collaboration on ‘APT’). She replied to the singer, “Bruno, I’m—What? I’m out right now, but I’ll check it. Can I call you later? Okay, I’ll check the email.”
APT maintained a No.1 rank on the Billboards 200 for two weeks straight, a testament to Mars and Rosé’s joint musical efforts. Before releasing the song, the pair confused fans by posting pictures of each other on their Instagram grids, with the ‘Grenade’ singer stating that the ‘Pink Venom’ singer tried to kiss him after teaching him how to play a Korean drinking game. Rosé’s reply was hilarious as she asked “What is wrong with you?” in the comment section of the post.

After the track dropped, fans breathed a sigh of relief noting that the weird exchange was related to the lyrics of APT.
Rosé’s debut solo album ‘Rosie’ is set to release on December 6, and its title track ‘APT’ has already garnered massive traction. On November 22, she dropped her second track ‘number one girl’ which is currently trending on YouTube. Check it out below.
