The BLACKPINK fans have another reason to enjoy now as the group has recently made a whole new record. Their music video titled ‘Kill This Love’ has reportedly surpassed 1.7 billion views on the popular platform, YouTube. The report was confirmed by the K-pop girl group’s agency YG Entertainment on Friday.
For the unversed, ‘Kill This Love’ is the group’s second video to reach the milestone on the platform, following the bandwagon of another mega hit of theirs which is “Ddu-du Ddu-du.’ As of now, the quartet has become the first K-pop artist to have two videos of theirs to hold the record.

Talking about ‘Kill This Love,’ it is a titular track from the group’s EP that was released back in April 2019. Then again, the main track reportedly made its debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 at number 41, including the album on Billboard top 200 at the 24th rank.

All the BLACKPINK members recently returned to Seoul on Saturday after the North American leg of their lengthy international tour. The K-pop girl group performed 14 times in seven different cities in Canada and the US for an audience of around 200,000 people. They have begun their schedule again from Monday.

The group recently broke a new record after their latest show that happened in Newark. For the unversed, BLACKPINK holds the record for the highest-grossing U.S. concert by any female group in the group. The record was broken with the group’s performance at the Prudential Center in Newark on November 14 and 15, 2022, grossing around 3.298 million USD per night. This is the first time in history that a girl group has ever earned over 3 million USD in a single arena concert in the US, and they did it twice at the Prudential Center.
