Blake Lively says this was the first time she was away from the kids.

The 36-year-old actress took to her Instagram account on Tuesday to document the Super Bowl weekend that she spent away from her kids. Alongside the carousel of images of her time spent there, she inserted a huge paragraph on how she felt being away from her children.

Starting the caption poking fun at her unique Balenciaga x Adidas Pantashoes track pants that continued into pointed-toe stilettos, she said, “Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes,” adding, “I took pictures upside down and had no clue.”

The Gossip Girl alum continued, “I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ’07,” adding, “I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing.” Lastly, she ended the caption by saying, “Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like. 💥🙌😆♥️🥰.”

Renolds and Lively are parents to daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4. They welcomed their fourth daughter together in February 2023. The first two images in the lengthy carousel featured pictures of the actress herself posing in front of the mirror donning her all-red Adidas x Balenciaga tracksuit coupled with retro curls framing her youthful face.

This was followed by a selfie of her in the stadium with the background of the football field behind her, and a few snaps capturing the game. Another mirror selfie showed her getting ready, and several looks at her chunky jewelry stack — which included a “friendship bracelet” with the Deadpool & Wolverine movie logo, an ode to her husband who will be acting in the upcoming third Deadpool movie, which debuted during the game.
