Brad Pitt’s lawyer’s statement

Brad Pitt’s current lawyer Anne Kiley talked about the legal matter to Page Six and stated that the actor would not take any responsibility for anything he did not do after Angelina Jolie’s recent allegations. The lawyer further added that Pitt owned everything he was responsible for, unlike the ‘other side.’ Moreover, the actor’s spokesperson also called the allegations untrue after Angelina Jolie’s new court documents detailed multiple abuse allegations against him.

Brad Pitt’s lawyer also said that the actor is currently on the receiving end of personal attacks and misrepresentations. Kiley further maintained that despite whatever is said from the other side (Jolie’s side), the public authorities had taken independent decisions. The lawyer also added that Brad Pitt will continue to respond in court the way he has till now.

Angelina Jolie’s allegations

Angelina Jolie reportedly filed court papers through which she accused Brad Pitt of attacking her and their children in an intoxicated state during a plane ride in 2016. The incident reportedly prompted her to file for a divorce against the actor. The countersuit from her side comes after Pitt sued the actress in February over selling her stake in one of their French wineries claiming their agreement stating that neither would sell the same without the other’s consent.

The alleged court document specifies an alleged incident that happened on a private plane on September 14, 2016, five days before the actress filed for a divorce while claiming that her ex-husband attacked her and her kids. The actress also alleges that the actor got into an argument with one of their children, who, at that time, were aged between 8 to 15 years. Jolie also accused Pitt of verbally abusing her and claimed that he grabbed her by the head and also shook her. He then allegedly grabbed her shoulders and pushed her into the private plane’s bathroom wall.
