When asked about his favorite thing about his wife Brittney, Brian, 38, found it difficult to pick one. “I’ve got a lot — it’s hard to pick one,” he said adding, “I just trust her with everything, like ‘Hey, does this outfit look good? Did you like this song?’ She’s loyal, and she’s just real and down to earth, and approaches life from an authentic, genuine place.” Brian emphasized that Brittney’s love is genuine and enduring, stating, “I think she’d love me if I was managing a Blockbuster store if those even still existed. She’s the best.”
“He hardly ever lets us be in a bad mood. I tend to vent, and he always tends to turn it around with his optimism,” shared Brittney about the “See You Next Summer” singer. “I feel like we’re so happy right now. We’re so content. We feel really blessed,” she added. “We have everything we could ever ask for — health, being able to be around friends and family. I feel really happy.”

Brian and Brittney recall their wedding day
Brian went on to add that his new album reflects more of his true self, featuring numerous songs inspired by the experience of “being in love” with Brittney. He fondly recalled the day he married his “best friend,” vividly picturing her walking down the steps at their old shack. “I feel like the luckiest, still to this day, to be married to her,” he said in the interview.
The wedding remains a vivid memory for Brittney as well, who reflected on the passage of time. “Time is such a wild concept. It does feel like it was yesterday. I remember being very intentional,” she shared. “I wasn’t really that bride that was over concerned about color palettes and napkins. I didn’t even know what the tent looked like until it got there. I was just so conscious about him and our relationship and that our wedding day was about him and I.”

What are Brian and Brittney’s future plans?
As they envisioned the future, Brian geared up for his new album, while Brittney celebrated a decade of Tribe Kelley’s growth. Additionally, the couple ventured into the restaurant business with Papa Surf Burger Bar in Florida.
Regarding the possibility of expanding their family beyond their four dogs, Brittney reflected, “We go back and forth. We have a lot of friends and family that have kids, and we love kids, but we also love our time. If God chose to bless us with that, we would welcome it with open arms. But, I think we’re OK either way.”
