“There is nothing quite like the sweet-scented smell of success. It’s clear the season won’t be quite so fragrant for everyone.” – Lady Whisteldown
Last time, viewers got to see an intriguing cliffhanger in which Anthony lashes out as he awaits news of Kate, while Eloise turns to Theo for help in her Lady Whistledown hunt, and Lady Featherington plans a grand ball. Since then, the fans have wanted to know about the tale between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington.
So, to curb all your doubts, we’ve compiled a list of all the things you should look forward to for the time being while you recap the previous seasons, which are available to watch on the streaming platform. If you are one of them, then you have reached the right place to know everything relating to when Netflix will release Bridgerton Season 3.
Bridgerton Season 3: Is it premiering in January 2023 or not?
Unfortunately, it was brought to our attention that Bridgerton Season 3 wasn’t included in the list of new releases in January 2023, which is a little disappointing for the fans who have been waiting for the next season for quite some time now. You might have to wait a bit longer as the filming of the episode is still underway, and it seems like the production has not reached its concluding stage and is supposedly set to wrap sometime in December 2022. Hence, it seems impossible that the show will return this year, to say the least.
If we were to guess, we suspect Netflix is setting up Bridgerton Season 3 for an early 2023 release, considering the last season came out on March 25, 2022. Moreover, if we take most of the Netflix series into consideration with a bit of speculation, then the new season, will have the same premiere time as other shows on the streaming service, which is 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET). In order to receive updates on when the show premieres on Netflix, interested viewers can also enable notifications. Of course, this is just speculation, and the fans should wait and keep a closer eye on the social media handles of the show to know about all the latest details and updates.

Bridgerton Season 3: What to expect in the new season?
The eagerly awaited show’s third season is reportedly in production and is scheduled to wrap up in December 2022. The focus of Season 3 is Penelope and Colin’s relationship, which is the subject of Romancing Mister Bridgerton, the fourth book in Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series. This is different from how the books are supposed to be read because book 3 is about Benedict Bridgerton’s courtship and marriage, while book 4 is about Penelope and Colin’s romance.
The main official synopsis from the first lines of the pilot episode titled, “Out of the Shadows,” states, “Dearest gentle reader, we’ve been apart for far too long. At last, London’s smart set has made its return, and so too has this author. As the season begins the question on everyone’s minds is, of course, which newly-minted debutante will shine the brightest? The crop this year appears to be rather dazzling indeed, unfortunately, not every young lady can attract the light.” This is narrated by Nicola Coughlan, the actress who plays Penelope in the series.
Moreover, the confirmed cast members of the series are Jonathan Bailey, Adjoa Andoh, Jessica Madsen, Harriet Cains, Polly Walker, Emma Naomi, Luke Thompson, Hugh Sachs, Bessie Carter, Ruth Gemmell, Golda Rosheuvel, Claudia Jessie, and Martins Imhangbe to be returning. Simone Ashley confirmed that her character Kate will be returning to the show as she is now the Lady of House. Hannah Dodd will take over the role of Francesca from Ruby Stokes, who is moving on to star in Netflix’s Lockwood & Co.
Hannah New will play Lady Tilley Arnold, a firebrand widow. Widowed at an early age, she enjoys the privileges and power that come with being at the helm of her former husband’s estate, living life on her own terms with financial independence and sexual freedom. The recurring guest star members are as follows Daniel Francis as Marcus Anderson, Sam Phillips as Lord Debling, James Phoon as Harry Dankworth, and Hannah New as Lady Tilley Arnold. For your consideration, we also suggest you to take a look at the exclusive interview with Simone Ashley below to get an idea about the plot of the new season.

Bridgerton Season 3: Is there any teaser or trailer?
The network has not released any new teaser or trailer for the upcoming season. We speculate that it will take some more time. So, in the meantime, we recommend the viewers catch up with the prior episodes to understand the events that have transpired and evolved around the next season. Last time, when the viewers tune into streaming the second season, they viewers got to see that, Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and her younger sister Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) Sharma arrive from India.
When Anthony begins to court Edwina, Kate discovers the true nature of his intentions – a true love match is not high on his priority list – and decides to do everything in her power to stop the union. But in doing so, Kate and Anthony’s verbal sparring matches only bring them closer together, complicating matters on both sides. Across Grosvenor Square, the Featheringtons must welcome the newest heir to their estate while Penelope (Nicola Coughlan) continues to navigate the ton whilst keeping her deepest secret from the people closest to her. Take a look at the official trailer for Season 2 below.
