In the official date announcement teaser, Netflix has dropped the most tantalizing news for all the Bridgerton fans by finally giving a reason to count down the days as the time has arrived to brace yourselves and be whisked away into the opulent world of scandal, romance, and intrigue as the Bridgerton saga will soon be gracing our screens. Didn’t this news get all your attention? We are delighted to inform our readers that the streaming giant has finally just gifted us with the official release dates of Bridgerton’s two-part Season 3.

This time around, Bridgerton is not going to be a part of the winter streaming season as Netflix has confirmed that the much-anticipated Season 3 will arrive in two parts by premiering next year with Part 1 on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and Part 2 on Thursday, June 13, 2024, only on Netflix, at the same time slot of 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET) for its worldwide release. Take a look at the official teaser as shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), which says, “Rejoice in this most thrilling news. Bridgerton Season 3 shall debut in two parts: Part 1 on May 16th and Part 2 on June 13th.”

Bridgerton Season 3 Plot: What to expect?

For the third season, it seems like Lady Whistledown will be back to reveal the Ton’s most speculated secret yet. The new chapter will delve into the friends-to-lovers romance trope between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and her longtime crush, world traveler Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). It’s safe to agree with Netflix that this spring will officially be filled with #Polin. After all, the third season will follow Julia Quinn’s fourth novel, “Romancing Mister Bridgerton,” with the official synopsis reading:

“In Season 3, Penelope has finally given up on her long-held crush on Colin after hearing his disparaging words about her last season. She has, however, decided it’s time to take a husband, preferably one who will provide her with enough independence to continue her double life as Lady Whistledown, far away from her mother and sisters.

But lacking in confidence, Penelope’s attempts on the marriage mart fail spectacularly. Meanwhile, Colin has returned from his summer travels with a new look and a serious sense of swagger. But he’s disheartened to realize that Penelope, the one person who always appreciated him as he was, is giving him the cold shoulder.

Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly. Complicating matters for Penelope is her rift with Eloise, who has found a new friend in a very unlikely place, while Penelope’s growing presence in the town makes it all the more difficult to keep her Lady Whistledown alter ego a secret.”
