After collaborating with multiple renowned international artists, the BTS members are now all set to collaborate with none other than Pharrell Williams himself. The South Korean boy band and the American singer and producer are all set to work together on a new track where the septet will reportedly feature. There is another possibility of the 49-year-old rapper featuring on RM’s upcoming solo debut too!

The BTS members and Pharrell Williams

For the unversed, BTS leader RM and the Happy singer recently met and discussed their year-long careers. It is there that they confirmed that a song is in the making in which the BTS members have featured on Williams’ own record called Phriends. Though the duo did not reveal much about the upcoming venture, the singer did reveal that the song is from his upcoming album and that it made him feel super grateful.

Will Pharrell Williams feature in RM’s solo?

While up until the moment of their conversation, the two renowned singers seemed to be talking about only one collaboration song between them. However, things changed soon after as Pharrell Williams revealed interest in having the opportunity to work on one of RM’s solo works for the latter’s own official debut. The BTS leader was more than happy to oblige while recalling his need for the American singer’s presence for the last 15 years.

RM’s plans

J-Hope and Jin from the Septet have already released their solo ventures. Now, it is reportedly RM’s turn to do the same, and the agency has also confirmed it in its official statement. BIGHIT Music recently shared a statement on RM’s solo plans while confirming that the Bangtan Boys leader is indeed working on a solo album and is preparing for it. However, no dates have been disclosed so far, with many speculating that the release date is likely to be November 25, 2022.

RM and BTS’ military plans

The BTS members, including their leader RM, will be serving their mandatory military service, and BIGHIT Music, the label associated with the band, has confirmed the same. After years of speculation and internal discussions among the South Korean government authorities, it is finally decided that the Septet members will serve their military terms. The eldest member of the group, Jin, is the first one to enlist in the service, as per the official announcement.
