Spotify has become a global stage for artists to connect with their fans through music. The most followed K-pop acts on Spotify feature a star-studded lineup, showcasing the immense popularity and influence of these talented artists.

BTS member Jungkook reigns supreme as the most followed K-pop act on Spotify, boasting an impressive 10 million followers. Notably, he witnessed a remarkable surge, gaining 628K new followers. This surge in followers coincides with his official solo debut this year and the highly anticipated release of his first solo album, “GOLDEN,” scheduled for November 3.

Jennie’s Striking Rise

Claiming the second spot is BLACKPINK’s Jennie, who continues to captivate audiences with her music. Jennie, with over 4 million followers on Spotify, experienced a significant growth of 519K new followers. Her latest release, “You & Me,” in October, contributed to her growing influence.

BLACKPINK and NewJeans Shine

The third and fourth positions are occupied by BLACKPINK as a group, with an impressive 46 million followers, and NewJeans, a rookie group under ADOR, boasting over 5 million followers. BLACKPINK remained in the spotlight with their new song, “The Girls,” released in October, while NewJeans made waves with the League of Legends World Championship anthem titled “GODS.”

BTS Holds Strong at No. 5

The iconic group BTS, though ranked at No. 5, continues to dominate with over 70 million followers on Spotify. Their October endeavors resulted in a gain of 435K new listeners, reaffirming their unwavering popularity despite ongoing group projects.

The Rest of the Top 10

The top 10 list is rounded out with other remarkable K-pop acts. BTS’ V takes the sixth position, amassing over 15 million followers on Spotify. JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids secured the seventh spot with 13 million followers, accompanied by a notable gain of 317K new followers in October. Stray Kids has been creating a buzz, making waves with their appearance at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards and an upcoming album titled “ROCK-STAR.”

BLACKPINK’s Rosé, at No. 8, garnered over 303K new followers, bringing her total to over 4 million listeners on Spotify. (G)I-DLE and Jisoo clinch the ninth and tenth positions, respectively. (G)I-DLE experienced a growth of 282K new followers in October, coinciding with the release of their first full-English album, “HEAT,” featuring the lead single “I Want That.” Meanwhile, Jisoo gained 281K new followers, boasting a total of over 1.9 million followers on Spotify.
