BTS is all set to mark its ninth debut anniversary in a few weeks and the Army is already excited about the same. Now, the Septet has announced yet another surprise that is sure to leave everyone elated. Yes, you heard it right! Their announcement about a pre-recording for Mnet’s show M Countdown was made on June 6, 2022, at 8.30 pm IST. Not only that but it also includes a notice about live show participation on June 16, 2022. However, it was a highlighted section of the same notice that has now caught everyone’s attention.
About the notice
BTS’ music show announcement comes in the form of a Weverse notice that announces the pre-recording scheduled for June 13, 2022. Here is what the notice says, “We have increased the scope of the event and number of participants allowed in the show to accommodate more ARMY as this recording will be held on a special day for BTS and ARMY. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation.”
For the unversed, June 13 also marks the Septet’s ninth debut anniversary. Exciting, isn’t it?
Music show details
The Weverse notice also says that the music show’s recording will take place at Jangchung Arena with around 4000 Armys and 100 more participants on the waitlist. It was already announced earlier that the BTS members will be returning to music shows to promote their upcoming anthology album Proof scheduled for June 10 release.
BTS’ letter to the Army
On June 7, 2022, the BTS members also dropped a letter meant for their fans on the official handle. Here is what the caption reads, “We want to remember and celebrate all the special moments we’ve had so far. What’s your #MyBTStory?”, the letter reads “Beginning this Saturday, we want to ask you to share your BTS stories with us, and each other, on YouTube Shorts.”

YouTube has further unveiled details about the special event planned by the BTS members for their debut anniversary and of course, the army. The event is titled #MyBTStory and is all set to kickstart from June 10, 2022, in the form of YouTube Shorts.
