The BTS Army has got yet another reason to rejoice as the K-pop group’s music video Butter has made a whole new record. It is because the track has crossed a whopping 800 million views on YouTube. Talking about the popular music video, the hit track of the Septet was released on May 21, 2021. It means that the official MV took merely a little over one year to achieve the said milestone. With this, Butter has also joined other BTS music videos, including Fake Love, Boy with Luv, DNA, Dynamite, IDOL, and Blood Sweat & Tears, to have become the eighth music video to cross 800 million views on YouTube.

Talking about the Bangtan Boys’ song Butter, its title and release date was first revealed through an hour-long YouTube video Livestream that witnessed a stick of butter melting slowly. It was only towards the end that the name Butter and its much-awaited release date were revealed to the world. For the unversed, Butter is also BTS’ second-ever English language single after Dynamite. Butter also made another record post its release. When the official music video premiered, it set a record by becoming the biggest YouTube MV premiere with over 3.9 million concurrent viewers.

BTS’ track Butter also happens to be one of the most popular tracks of the group. A few months ago, when the Septet met with US President Joe Biden to discuss important matters, the first thing he did was to play the song Butter!
In a viral video, President Joe Biden was seen playing Butter as he asked the BTS members to think of the place as their own home. The latter also responded to the same with some light dance moves and applauded the leader. Biden further stated reportedly that whatever the Bangtan Boys do makes a difference. He also talked about the significance of getting rid of hate and said that he appreciated the boys as a president.
BTS’ new concert
BTS is all set to hold a concert for the bid to host the 2030 World Expo in Busan on October 15, 2022. On August 24, 2022, the Bangtan Boys informed the global fandom platform Weverse about the opening of the much-talked-about concert ‘BTS IN BUSAN’ to pray for the World Expo 2030. For the unversed, the concert is going to be held at a special stage situated in Busan.
The concert is going to be a face-to-face performance and is going to be held on Busan Ilgwang Special Stage with a whopping 100,000 people. It will also include the LIVE PLAY that is going to be held in the outdoor parking lot of Busan Port International Passenger Terminal, which will be for 10,000 people. The BTS members were earlier officially appointed as ambassadors for the 2030 Busan World Expo. As a part of the same, they are engaging in a whole lot of promotional activities, one of which is ‘BTS IN BUSAN.’
