It seems like the BTS members are on a success spree as yet another single of the group has added another feather to its hat. Yes, we are talking about the iconic song Dynamite here that has just hit yet another milestone much to the army’s excitement. The track now stands at 1,401,974,334 streams on the global music platform Spotify, making it the first-ever song by a Korean act to hit such a mark on the same. Dynamite created yet another record in 2021 when it crossed 1 billion streams on Spotify itself. With this, the BTS members also joined the Spotify Billions Club.

Dynamite is a disco-pop song that is historic both for the Bangtan Boys and the army for multiple reasons. It earned the group their first-ever Grammy nomination for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd edition of the prestigious awards. The song also made the BTS the first-ever Korean group act to get nominated in the said category. Earlier in March 2021, the Septet went on to become the first K-pop act to perform their own song (Dynamite) at the Grammys. Upon its release, the song debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making the BTS members the first all-South Korean act to top the same chart.

A few weeks ago, Dynamite made yet another interesting record on YouTube by crossing 1.5 billion views on the popular platform. It made the record as recorded on June 17, 2022, at 1.10 am KST. It is the second music video to reach the mark after Boy With Luv (ft. Halsey), which reached the milestone earlier this year in April.

For the unversed, the MV of Dynamite was released on August 21, 2020. It is also officially the fastest music video of BTS to cross 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Earlier, the music video had created another record after having crossed 1 billion views on April 12, 2021. Did you know that Dynamite is also BTS’ first full English song?

Each member of the BTS has a separate section in this lyrical video, and all the armies can surely figure out the voices in one go! The song is an upbeat, 1970s-influenced number that will leave you grooving like no other! Dynamite is not the only song of the BTS members that has created a record. A few weeks ago, another music video of the Septet, Mic Drop, created a new record on YouTube by crossing the 1.2 billion mark.
