BTS’ J-Hope releases his album Jack in the Box with official music video of Arson

BTS member J-Hope’s fans are super excited as the singer and rapper has finally dropped the much-awaited album Jack in the Box. It was on July 15, 2022, at 1 pm KST, that the solo album Jack in the Box was released, and the best part here is that the fans witnessed the release of the title track Arson on the very same day. Previously, J-Hope surprised his fans on July 1, 2022, after pre-releasing the track MORE from the album with its official music video. For the unversed, both Arson and MORE are the double title tracks of Jack in the Box.

We get to see a completely different version of J-Hope in Arson as he calls himself a fireman of chaos in the track while grappling with the choices he made in his life. J-Hope uses Arson as a way of addressing his inner aspirations and his anguish when facing moments of choice all the way through his life’s journey.

Arson’s new records

No sooner was it released, Arson already started its record-making spree, with the official music video crossing 62000 likes. Moreover, around 35000 fans were waiting for the music video’s release by the time the clock struck 1 pm KST. With around five minutes to go for the official premiere, the world witnessed around 113131 fans waiting for the music video’s release with over 187000 likes. Around 353633 live viewers showed up and tuned in to the premiere of Arson.

BigHit Music recently released the MV teaser for J-Hope’s Arson on July 13, 2022, and it seemed like the rapper was all set to introduce us to the dark world again. We could see cars burning in slow motion, a dark bass in the background, and J-Hope’s thundering voice, which left us excited for his comeback. Earlier, BigHit Music also released Arson’s second set of concept photos and displayed a whole new avatar of J-Hope. Talking about Arson, the song talks about the rapper’s passion as he collides with the outer world and struggles with the crossroads related to various choices. The first-ever concept photo of Arson displayed Hobi standing beside a burning car, and the second one displayed a burned car with the rapper wearing a tanned jumpsuit.

MORE’s record

Earlier, Billboard announced on its official Twitter handle that J-Hope’s single MORE has ranked at number 82 on the Hot 100 chart. For the unversed, this is the second time that the singer has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart with a solo number. He ranked at number 81 on the same chart in 2019 with the song Chicken Noodle Soup. With MORE already creating records one after the other, we can have the same expectations from the recently released track Arson!
