While the BTS members are gearing up for the release of Proof on June 10, 2022, J-Hope, aka Hobi, has added yet another feather to his hat. Well, it is related to Lollapalooza, the annual four-day music festival, and the fans can’t keep calm about the same. The organizers made an important announcement on June 8, 2022, at 5.30 am IST, about J-Hope joining the performers this year as headlining artists.
Here is what the announcement says, “We’re thrilled to announce J-Hope of BTS will headline Lolla 2022 on Sun, July 31st! His performance will make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to headline a main stage at a major U.S. music festival.”

About J-Hope’s performance
If we go by the schedule, J-Hope will perform an hour-long set between 9 pm to 10 pm central time on July 31, 2022, central time. For the unversed, the BTS member’s performance will be wrapping up the closing ceremony of the show at the Lollapalooza Bud Light Seltzer Stage.
Hobi’s announcement
Shortly after the official announcement, the BTS member himself took to social media and wrote about the upcoming event in this post that reads, “This is going to be my first performance at @lollapalooza It’s a thrilling new challenge that I think will become a really memorable chapter in my musical history! I’m gonna give you guys a great show. Get ready to get crazyyyyyy!”
