BTS’ Jimin makes new iTunes record with seven songs achieving 100 No. 1s

BTS’ Jimin has recently achieved an amazing milestone on the international iTunes charts. The K-pop singer has become the first soloist to have seven songs with 100 No. 1s each on none other than the most popular iTunes charts! Jimin’s latest single, Closer Than This, has attained the No. 1 position on iTunes Top Songs charts as of December 24 at 8 a.m. KST. This record has been made at least in 106 different regions.  These regions include some of the most influential markets, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Japan, France, Brazil, and Australia.

Jimin’s Latest Achievements

For the unversed, the BTS member faced tough competition from two evergreen Christmas hits. Closer Than This surpassed Mariah Carey’s iconic All I Want for Christmas Is You in the United States. On the other hand, it emerged victorious against Wham!’s Last Christmas in the United Kingdom. Before Closer Than This, the BTS member had already achieved this feat with his solo tracks which include the following:

Jimin Recent Activities

All the BTS members, including Jimin, are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service. Despite their military commitments, he released Closer Than This on December 22, 2023. This excellent video reveals Jimin and the writing team’s amazing efforts in writing the entire track. This definitely shows his love and care for all the BTS ARMY.

Jimin also shares an adorable journey from behind the scenes in the latest video. For the unversed, it is released by the BTS label. The fans were further surprised and elated as Jimin’s fellow member V also made a guest cameo in the video.

The video is reportedly titled A Gift for ARMY. It spans for around 30 minutes and showcases Jimin’s dance video shoots set to several tracks. It includes DJ Khaled’s I DID IT, Dominic Fike and Kenny Beats Phone Numbers, and Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s Stuck With You.

The New Fashion Compliment

BTS member Jimin has also taken over the internet recently with his mesmerizing visuals. Yes, you heard it right. The K-pop star’s Korea April 2023 front page visuals are now listed as one of the 28 Most Memorable Magazine covers of the year. This list has been released by the Fashionista magazine. For the unversed, the same list also included other A-listers, like Beyonce, Zendaya, and Margot Robbie.
