The BTS members may be away for their military duties but the fans make sure to keep a tab on whatever is happening in their lives on social media. Jimin, one of the prominent members of the group, has also enlisted in the military.
However, keeping things aside, he made sure to entertain the ARMY again by presenting them with a new song. Apart from that, he also showcased the behind-the-scenes journey for the same in his latest video. The best part here is that his fellow band member V, aka Kim Taehyung, also made a guest appearance in it.

BIGHIT MUSIC shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video on December 23, 2023, that showcased the sincere efforts put forward by Jimin to create content for the ARMY. He did so before leaving for his mandatory military duties.
For the unversed, the video is titled, ‘A Gift for ARMY.’ It is approximately 30 minutes long and further features Jimin shooting his dance video. Some of the tracks that he grooved to include DJ Khaled’s I DID IT, Dominic Fike and Kenny Beats’ Phone Numbers, and Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s Stuck With You. For the unversed, these video clips were earlier released as #ThisIsJimin.
The same video also showcases the BTS member practicing the choreography for his latest single, Closer Than This. He then went on to use colored pens to decorate the studio mirror with some kind of graffiti as a message for the ARMYs.
But wait! There is more. Jimin also had a surprise visitor as he was about to shoot the dance video for Closer Than This. Well, it was none other than BV himself who decided to join him on his final video.

Within just a few hours of its release, Jimin’s Closer Than This claimed the coveted No. 1 spot on iTunes Top Songs charts. This ranking applies to over 90 regions, including the United States, Japan, France, and Germany.
BIGHIT MUSIC also confirmed that the song was ranked at the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and European iTunes Song Chart. Simultaneously, the song’s music video became the #1 trending MV on YouTube worldwide within a short time. Closer Than This also secured the No. 1 position on Bugs’ real-time chart last week.
